Phoenix Radio Breast Cancer Awareness Featuring

Pink Day in LA

Breast cancer is a growing concern that is affects 1 in 8 women every year! That's outrageous! While it is mainly affecting women, there is around 1,970 new cases of breast cancer diagnosed in men each year. The buck stops here!

Here at Phoenix Radio we care about all our people no matter what race, gender, or where they are at in the world. This is why we want to get the word out on this. While there is no sure way to prevent breast cancer, there ARE things you can do that might lower your risk. such as changing risk factors that are under your control. Breast cancer is sometimes found after symptoms appear, but many women with breast cancer have no symptoms. This is why regular breast cancer screening is so important.

Your choices for treatment will depend on the type and stage of your breast cancer, your age and overall health, and your personal preferences. For women who have surgery as part of their breast cancer treatment may choose breast reconstruction surgery to rebuild the shape and look of the breast. There are different types of breast reconstruction surgery.
